Sliding round in your sock feet, grooving Shaking, feeling fine Underfoot is your life’s companion Keep him laughing all the time Keep him laughing all the time Nora and Rowan Won’t stop growing Won’t stop fighting till the battle is won Rowan and Nora They're coming for ya Clear out the dance floor they’re looking for fun All the family is dialing in You know they wanna hear the news Rowan’s up on his own two feet Nora’s everybody’s muse There’s no way this team can lose Nora and Rowan Won’t stop growing Won’t stop fighting til the battle is won Rowan and Nora They're coming for ya Clear out the dance floor they’re looking for fun Oh, they're looking for fun (Rowan and Nora, ooh, Rowan and Nora) (Rowan and Nora, ooh, Rowan and Nora) Nora and Rowan Never slowing Always moving to the beat of their drums Rowan and Nora They're coming for ya Clear out the dancefloor...

Delores 02:41
Trunks are pointing to the heavens Good luck keeps falling down like rain Every pull comes up sevens Good times keep rolling round again Delores, don't you worry Whatever comes to pass How bout another chorus? Keep on spinning This luck was made to last Made to last Hit up all your favorite haunts You're stepping out, your worry's staying in And bring along your confidant Chris and Grammy, you know they came to win Delores, don't you worry Whatever comes to pass How bout another chorus? Keep on spinning This luck was made to last Delores, don't you worry Whatever comes to pass How bout another chorus? Keep on spinning This luck was made to last Made to last Delores How bout another chorus?

Ethel’s in the backyard Kicking up the dust Scratching all the fencing into rust I hear the kettle whistle The kitchen’s never clean How are all my babies’ quarantines? Til we can go coast to coast I’ll try to fit my love between these notes Til I can be with all the ones I love the most So Erik, how is Jeremiah? How is baby K? And Cassie, how do Zayah and Liyah fill their days? Krissi cross the country Zoe down the way There’s so much I can’t begin to say Til we can go coast to coast I’ll try to fit my love between these notes Til I can be with all the ones I love the most Til We can go coast to coast Coast to coast Jerry’s swinging hammers Fixing up our new chalet CJ’s playing games Seems like he’s taller every day I’m here in the garden Taking in the May sunshine The succulents are coming up just fine Til we can go coast to coast I’ll try to fit my love between these notes Til I can be with all the ones I love the most Oh, til we can go coast to coast I’ll try to fit my love between these notes Til I can be with all the ones I love the most Oh, til we can go coast to coast

about

My first ever collection of custom songs, written for real people, about real people. Drop me a line at mattorduncan@gmail.com if you'd like me to make you one.

"Nora and Rowan" is about two kids from Ohio, ages four and one at the time of recording, gearing up to do big things.

"Delores" was a gift for Kyle's grandma's 92nd birthday. She loves playing the slots and her favorite artists are the Statler Brothers and the Oak Ridge Boys.

"Coast to Coast" was a Mother's Day gift from Kristina. Her mom is big on Kacey Musgraves, as am I. Ethel is one of her chickens, but everyone else is a human family member.
